Sport at the beginning of the 21st century is understood as one of the most representative sociocultural phenomena, supported by plural meanings and purposes, taking place in different settings and encouraging the participation of different social classes. For the same reason, it is possible to affirm that sport is a heritage of humanity, considering that its emergence was generated based on symbolic representations, built on the relationship between man throughout its historicity1.
