Quality processes in Chile and their impact on doctoral programs (the post degree)

Objective: Analyze the important elements to consider in the presentation of the accreditation of doctoral programs and describe the processes carried out in Chile.
Methodology: A documentary technique was used to analyze and describe quality processes in Chile and their impact on doctoral programs. Cards were used to record the information and analysis of the database and texts to write the contents.
Conclusion: It is concluded that after the experience of the accreditation of doctoral programs, it is necessary to implement digital platforms, propose programs that contribute to the development of the regions of the country, especially, that are linked to the productive sector. These indicators are necessary to improve the evaluation processes of future programs.
