Considerations in the habits of feeding and physical activity in students of the second basic cycle of Chile.

Objective: To describe the educational process that exists in Chile, and how this system could contribute to the acquisition of eating habits and the practice of physical activity.
Methodology: Bibliographical consultation has been carried out regarding the school system and the habits of feeding and physical activity in children. The documentary technique was used to develop the trial.
Conclusion: The information provided can be analyzed from the point of view of food and physical activity levels that tend to develop in the schools of the Chilean school system. It is suggested to quantitatively and qualitatively evaluate such variables and compare among the three types of schools. This information would be useful to modify the curricular plans.
