Abstract

Objective: To describe Baseball as an attractive sport for youth due to its urban character and street dynamics, low cost for its practice and its global possibilities, which would awaken the interest of new sponsors, networks and media.

Methodology: A documentary study was carried out through a narrative review. A literature search is carried out on Google Scholar to elaborate the conceptual framework.

Conclusion: Baseball5 and softball have had irregular participation in the Olympic program. Before that, the WBSC promotes Baseball5 as an alternative with Olympic projection, thanks to its characteristics of sustainability, inclusion and attraction for young people, which could favor its incorporation in future Olympic Games, such as Brisbane 2032.
