Abstract

The severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS-CoV-2) originated in bats and was transmitted to humans through as yet unknown intermediary animals in Wuhan, Hubei province, China. This virus can be transmitted from person to person through droplets and close contact, and people of all ages are susceptible to this virus1.
