Objective: To evaluate and compare the variables of the Drop Jump between the contact mat and the My Jump in athletes and beginners in the sport.
Methodology: 33 individuals from both the dry ones participated in the study, divided into 2 groups, athletes (n = 17) and beginners (n = 16), in which they did the Drop Jump test, controlling the variables jump height, reactive force index and contact time.
Results: The data show a positive correlation in the contact time (r = 0.874; ICC = 0.937; IC = 0.861-0.966; p <0.001); jump height (r = 0.997; ICC = 0.997; IC = 0.995-0.999; p <0.001), reactive force index (RFI) (r = 0.925; ICC = 0.959; IC = 0.917-0.980; p <0.001).
Conclusion: The My Jump 2 is an applicable tool for training control and easy accessibility.
