Abstract

Objective: To conduct a critical and reflective review. To provide the reader with a critical and constructive perspective on the relationship between the principles of physical therapy and new trends in intervention.

Methodology: A literature review of the evidence on the evolution of physical therapy and its various interventions, focusing on their underlying principles and how they have evolved.

Conclusion: The clinical approach involves the development of critical thinking combined with decision-making, where the integration of elements of human movement with methodologies for developing physical abilities becomes the most effective tool when working with patients.
